isnt that just the same trick that was used on securom a long long time ago? hardly 'new'
and registry blocking is easily detected, under 'normal' windows, theres only a few keys that are blocked (typically microsoft 'secret' ones.. to do with activation).. so blocking others is a definate 'red flag', and the safedisc people could act on it in another update... really not the way to go...
