Here is the only case mentioned where emulation may be needed for a mounted image, namely old Securom subchannel emulation for cooked images.

Sorry for my lack of understanding (and writing ) english: You say you've created image with Alcohol and burned a RMPS-copy to DVD9 ?

No made image with Alcohol, both mini and full, tried in DT Adv, didnt work until I put on RMPS then it worked.

Go figure :P

I asked because Alcohol isn't capable of creating working Tages images. DT PRO's DPM for Tages is not the same as Alcohol's DPM (for Securom/Starforce/DVD Cops)

Not necessarily, if done raw and at slow speeds etc it can make an image

First the unneeded emulations, then Alcohol creating working Tages images, and finally normal devices reading DVDs in RAW mode using Alcohol 120%

i have problem with Dtpro advance, when i selecet add Ide device an error occur:

Unable to adapt virtual device problem 12

is shown only with ide device
i have win xp professional
how can i solve the problem?

Just because you love the DT team doesnt mean you infinitely knowledgeable about things.

There is many ways you can use A 120% from its usual standpoint, and many little additions that can be added to it to make life much much easier.
