To avoid need of selecting custom setup, open Pro Evolution Soccer 2008.msi with Orca and from table ISSetupTypeFeatures delete rows:
Typical French_Sound Typical French_Text Typical German_Sound Typical German_Text Typical Italian_Sound Typical Italian_Text Typical Portuges_Text Typical Spanish_Sound Typical Spanish_Text Your game will be installed with English sounds and texts if you just select complete setup. I'm not sure is this a proper procedure but works for me. I don't have time to try other languages. Please try and post your comments.
