Thats the thing Joe, it was broken. lol
I have always had a problem with what they refer to as 'Snap Crackle Pop' (SCP). A popping or crackling sound thru the speakers. People have been complaining about SCP for many many years. (cant remeber exactly how many years but its a lot). This SCP occurs when using CMSS2 and Environment settings. With the older software I got around the SCP by creating my own environment setting and lowing the reverb in that one created setting. But this new software wont allow you to create your own environment settings? So the SCP is a now a lot worse. I only did a reformat yesterday so tested this new software on a fresh system. Unfortunately Creative always seem to take the one step forward 2 steps backwards approach with anything they do! ![]() As flashy as this new version is I will be going back to the older version.
