As far as I know Tunebite can convert( remove the protection) from both audio and video files, but I don't think it can convert a video file into an audio one. I mean if you convert a video file, after conversion you'll still have a video file but without protection.

Hi
Sure it can, Tunebite can convert video to audio if you select the option of converting only audio: "Audio only". Check this box, redhatblueeyes, and you'll have audio part converted

Oh I have figured that out in the meantime what I don't figure out right now is why after Tunebite finishes converting, the file doesn't appear in the overwiev? Hmm this happens for a short period of time. any clue Jeremiah55?

As far as I remember it is something related to the names of output-files, characters or something...

I was tricked into trying some tool called Tunecab...don't let anyone fool you with that...because tunebite has not changed the name.

I saw on some forums the same problems, this software is pretending to be Tunebite and has nothing to do with it, and tried it myself and scrwed up my sound-settings, took a while to restore them

Hmm ...reading the 2 last posts I can only think that I probably use the best tool ever. Otherwise why should someone try to steal the name from other software?! Tunebite is the best!

Limb did you try with a full version or with a trial version ? Because this could be the only problem. Other than that I don't see any problems. For me i works ok.
ohh...and one more thing. Please try something more intelligent than this spam attempt...the link you provided here, goes to a website that is exactly the same as the tunecab site. So please don't insult our intelligence

Tunebite has just released a totally new version with higher conversion speed and a lot of other formats from which to convert

I have received a free serial for the new version, it has many improvements and you can use it as a converter only if you wish. It can now convert files that are not DRM protected. The speed is higher

HI,
I'm kinda new here and I wanted to ask if you already tried to convert video files also? I'm searching for a tool to convert my videos but couldn't find anything great yet. I took a look at the website of tunebite and downloaded the demo version but it only did like a minute of the file

Hi,
Piccard, welcome! The demo version only converts 60 sec of a files, so don't expect more. I have converted iTunes files and had n problem with them, they turned out ok .
