Dont worry help is at hand... you shouldn't have blown it! It sounds like you have used the wrong diagram or wired links in the wrong place, I came across the same problem a few years ago when the firstt 7502'a hit the shelves and the where loads of different diags to choose from. I'll email you the correct diag that i use and it work fine.
