Sims 2 H&M Fashion Problem

Well I found out the resolution problem... It works before the game is patched then after it sets itself to 800x600 so I'm not sure why. but my monitor can go way higher.

I still can't get the H&M fashion expansion to work.. Even when I run it in seasons, it doesn't recognize it. So I'm going crazy.. I really want to play it.

Edit: It does the same with and without..

You run the seasons exe file to run the game. To fix the graphics res however, you need to edit the graphics rule file for H&M. It's wierd but it works.
