HALO 2 - loader.exe doesn't work

Hello
I tried run the Halo 2 (on XP) with the loader. exe, in console cmd and the loader doesn't work. And i see : "The System can't run specified program"
I have the "loader.exe" on disc D and the Halo 2 in DVD letter F
I wrote in cmd console: D:\loader.exe F:\startup.exe
Is it right?

Please help me.
Sorry for my bad english

I couldnt get the loader to work either and tried everything ! I have 2 hard drives, one with xp and one with vista to run vista only games.

In my opinion HALO2 for the pc isnt that good and the graphics in the main arent all that either so save your hair and dont bother trying to run it on xp !

Give LOST PLANET a go , now that's what you call a decent game .

Cheers.

There is already a topic about this here:

http://fileforums.com/showthread.php?t=81107

Please don't start identical topics!

To get the loader to work you must install the Windows Live software and the VC++ 2005 redistributable.

You must then copy the following files into your Halo 2 directory:

dwmapi.dll
Loader.exe
mf.dll
MFPlat.dll
wow.dll

You may need the XTaskDlg.dll as well but nothing complained when it wasn't copied across!

Run the game from a CMD prompt in the Halo 2 directory, for me that command is:

Loader.exe halo2.exe

See the link I posted for more info on creating a shortcut to run from the Desktop.
