Okay. Thanks for tip.
I got the file and tried it. It may say that it is a no-CD patch, but it will not run unless I put my CD in the drive. I uninstalled everything (as a test) and reinstalled the game and then each patch. So even with a 'clean' install the 1.04 "no-cd" update still seems to require the CD. So I renew my request for someone to take a look at the 1.04 patch and create a no-cd version of it. Thanks.
