The 9250 series has pixel shader 1.4 if I remember corectly. So you need a video card upgrade(try an ATI X1650). There are versions on both AGP and PCIe and I think you can get it at around 100-150$.
Most of the recent games are requiring from X600 up to X1950(for ATI) or 6600 to 8800(for Nvidia). I suspect that you are on AGP slot so your options are ATIX1650 or Geforce7800(Nvidia). Both are the last releases for AGP. The AGP slot won't get other videocards, as AGP slot does not uses the DirectX10 from Vista.
