Command & Conquer 3 - Demo-Trainer

I was getting bored of the demo so I downloaded the +7 trainer.....put it in the directory....ran it.....ran C&C3 (the trainer says it detects the game running as well as gamedemo.dat) but I have been unable to get it to work at all.

SHIFT + A in the game, and outside of the game in the trainer window doesn't seem to do anything.

Any ideas?

hmm doesn't look fake, code works using psapi to enumerate through the processes, then virtualallocex probably for a code detour, so looks real
haven't tested it though, beat the demo so didnt need trainer
it definately checks for something+a, so shift+a might be right

f'kin ugly trainer tho ;p

But yeah, dunno, the demo I got was the first one from fileplanet, so I'm sure the version is the same... I beat the demo a while ago and I keep playing the skirmishes and I wanted to screw around with instant building.

Not a big deal anyhow, just wish I could figure out what's wrong, can anyone else try it and see if it works?

How helpful.

Where did you download the demo, what steps did you take to use the trainer.

- start the game
- return to windows (alt + Tab)
- start the trainer
- done

why the hell would you want a trainer for the demo

i got through the demo campaign in 15 minutes

I noticed the demo has a run game feature, place demo in same folder as game exe and run from trainer.

To mess around? I can't beat brutal at all, I want to try instant build and just see how long I can defend myself.

Did those exact steps, and I tried doing it while in a skirmish, and when I'm not. I tried enabling (ctrl+A) inside the game, as well as out too.

Sorta but only because I've tried it both ways, running from the trainer and running from the regular exe and opening the trainer later.

I've always had the trainer in the game dir.

Very odd...I'm wondering if they changed the demo version, I grabbed mine from fileplanet, i had it reserved and preloaded.
