Run the COM file to have the EXE cracked. (Actually, this should be obvious if you run the COM file alone and read its output, in an empty DOS shell. Also, this is how all patches work anyway - except that mine has no beautiful, graphical user interface embedded, only a few simple textual messages.)

Well Crap
Hey Joe...thanks man. I know you could ignore my posts and move on to more experienced people.
From the start, I ran the exe and then ran the patch. The MS-DOS window popped up and did its thing...but when I run the Cash flow exe now...it appears to start...but then my screen just goes blank. If you have time and can think of what I am doing wrong...I would love to know. Thanks again. T

Read what the patch displayed. (Run the patch from an already opened MS-DOS shell, not directly from Windows Explorer or whatever graphical software.)

CRC Error
Ran in MS-DOS. Patching FILENAME.EXE - CRC error!
