Cannot backup Medal of Honor Underground UK !!!

I can't seem to back it up, even though I used CDRWIN and there is no patch out there that removes a protection - what do I do ? It either stops on the black PS startup screen or at the Ist mission loading screen !!!!!!!
Help !!!
