You could contact the publisher/developer and let them know your Pioneer 106 isnt doing its job for the protection.
They may help you if you can prove you have a legit copy. Also yes Pioneer's 106's were removed from sales pretty quick when it was found they are infact crap, 107's took over shortly after.
