I installed the patch and then applied your crack. Again, like other users, I got the hourglass and then nothing.

this is really weird, it worked. once.
I dont know what changed but it ran the game fine, 1.1 and everything, I played for a bit then restarted the computer now it doesn't work again, i dont have a clue what i had open/closed etc to make it work, but now im very confused! it definitely tries to run medieval 2, i can see it appear in the processes list, but it dissapears almost instantly, im gonna try and re-create the situation, but i dont have a clue what it was, does anyone else have any ideas? |

The exe is not shutting down properly here. The game seems to work fine, but when you exit the game the exe file stays in the process list. Subsequent efforts to start the game are greeted with 'another instance of the program is already running' errors. Each attempt to start the program adds another medieval2.exe process to the process list which all need to be cleared manually.
If you could do another repack to take care of this it would be very much appreciated, as i'm glad you are stepping up to the plate, as the release groups don't seem to bother with patches |
