I'am sorry but I have to disagree with you there, the game is quite playable on a system with a fairly decent processor, as well as the latest patch fixing the performance issues with SecuROM on the German edition. As for the game not scaling down to cater for older systems, by the sound of you're complaints, that is unfortunate and hopefully is improved through further patching, otherwise the game is quite playable in it's current state.
