Well, my first thought is that your computer does not meet all the recommended specs.

It's really hard to say thou. I only tried the game once, but with everything maxed out, it was a very fluid experience.

I was running bittorrent in the back ><

Since i have dual core processor i can set affinity.. cpu0=bittorrent, cpu1=nfsc. Works great now
