Hehehe yeah, just looked weird when he said he tried both DVD5 and DVD9 as if there was 2 types.

So you're claiming that you only need this yasu and Daemontools?

So I won't need CureROM or some Securom Loader?

Can anybody else verify this claim?

How to get things work after 1.02 patch

No mechanical actions are required whatsoever.

Mount the image in DT 4.06, sptd.sys 1.35.
Other software with low-lvl drivers on my rig: AnyDVD, Nero, Alcohol *without* virtual drives and the vaxscsi.sys driver.

Disable or if disabling doesn't help - delete (uninstall) your physical optical disk drivers from device manager (will be restored after reboot).

Using regedit.exe, mercilessly delete the HKLM\HARDWARE\DEVICEMAP\Scsi
key in its entirety (will also be restored and rebuilt upon next reboot).

Now you need no emulators/loaders/hiders and so on. Just play the game from the launcher.

Guess it is a temporary solution, but it works fine with full image every time, haven't checked with the mini/maxi ones.

Just noticed that GCW has a no-DVD fixed exe(s) for the game.

No need for all this nonsense. Just replace exe
