When I have technical problems with games I usually, ask, search on forums, or search on google too. Most of the time Tech Support from Publishers s is kinda useless. and a lot of times you get better help from experienced gamers than the Publisher itself They always say the same experienced with computers know : defrag your hd,download the patch, close unneed processes, update your video/sound drivers or repeat the same crap that is alraady on the readme file. That is why I generally don't contact them and try fix myself trying different things

Yeah, technical support - at least, the front help desk - is a bunch of idiots. If you can get to a real technician-engineer, you'll get real help, but only specific help for specific questions! (I'm talking about application software here, not games, though...) So, your best choice is trying the official support forum instead: as acal3000 also wrote, people who know the game and are also good with computers in general will be able to provide much better help!
