Ok I got it to work now.
I have 1.16 English + Minimage


1- Mount with latest daemon tools 4.06HE (I updated mine)
2- Have emulations options turned off
3 - Load it using SecuROM_Loader_v7.26 (procyon.exe)

The funny thing is: It does not work all the time. Most of the time it shows the backup msg, but after like 5 tries it started and it shows 1.16 on welcome screen.
I managed to get it to load like 2 times of 10 tries...

I did all u wrote the only problem is that after i reboot my pc it freezes! So i had to remove manually SPTD files because they were conflicting with kernel debugger as told in the installation window of 4.06 Daemon version. Plus i couldn't remove Daemon from my pc. Now it's all fixed but:

If i install 4.06 Daemon i'll till have this issue on the contrary i couldn't play The guild 2.

Any suggestions?

Try with the original DVD; if it doesn't work either, contact the publisher.

Let me tell you how I did and it's working just fine. I unplugged my DVD-Rom, got that ALC mini img loaded in DT 4.06HE and that is all. I hope this will work for every one.(I got installed the game from the orginal DVD witch is not working like it should don't know why)

P.S: This is for the 1.16 version

I really tried every option mentioned in this thread... I get upset. So I say: I donate $15 for the guy who creates a NOCD/DVD thing for the game. Hopefully I dont violate the forum rules etc. if its so: sorry.

1. Paying for cracks - modified versions of game data - is obviously illegal.
2. You won't know the person - a professional cracker - who created the crack anyway.

This is my first post on these forums, so that explains the title. Ill make this as short as I can. I tried everything here to get my game to run w/o CD, but maybe I messed up somewhere. I have installed a fresh copy of The Guild 2 v 1.20 uk. (Game runs nice with the cd btw) And i tried makeing mini disk images but when i mount and run them with procyon,asr, or alkisecurom I get this securom error saying the game wont run off back up disks (1000). I tried disconing my dvd drive and mounted in newest Daemon tools version with many combinations of emulations and settings. i think its a bad mini image. the one i got from the forum link back on one of the pages, but im not sure. ill ask for the other mini image they discussed and try agian. i must have done 1000 attempts to get this to work, about to give up. ttym for any reply.
