hello grumpy
did one little change and put data3.cab on cd2 now prompts for cd2

So of i only take cab.3 and burn that on dvd 2 and the rest in dvd1(both called just cause it works, but what iis that with the udf burning , cant i not just burn it as a data?

No, copy all those files I mentioned in the above post to DVD2 but also include data3.cab on DVD2. Dont put data3.cab on DVD1.

You can put it on DVD1 if you like but then you will be prompted to insert Disc 3.
If you put data3.cab on DVD2 (with all those other files i mentioned above) then you will be prompted to insert Disc 2.

And because some of the files are over 2GB in size you wont be able to burn it as a normal Data disc. They will have to be burnt as UDF discs.
