You havent actually told us if the game works, with the update but 'without' using the NoCD crack, in other words does it work when you use the original disc to play?

naw, cracks are usually (really depends on the protection) smaller, as the protection code sections are sometimes removed etc.. but it really does depend on the protection, the cracking method (eg: loader), and the crackers skills

not if the game is in english, and the crack too
sometimes cracks work on multi language releases of the game sometimes they dont... quite why you'd have xp in dutch and try to play a french game is quite beyond me .. are multi lingual and like to torture yourself ? ;p
