@EvilDead

This seems to be a problem with all the files posted in: Week 35-36: 27 August - 9 September 2006

Empire has been informed about the problem and I am sure the links will be fixed asap.

Heh You were talking about me?
You are telling me that if I ask for cd-key i dont have oryginal game probably and if Someone ask for crack they have oryginal? I dont get Your way of thinking. I saw many request for crack on this forum, do You think they ask for it for fun? That they want to crack oryginal game? Maybe 1% of requests need crack ,coz of game badly works ,or bugs, but dont count mostly on it ok? . It's sure they dont have oryginal game. Crack is almost the same as cd-key. I'm sorry i woke You up from dream ^^
Cheers

@Kwic: Forum rule #2 clearly says you may not request CD-keys/serials. People with only a bit of sense can find out that this doesn't mean you can ask WHERE to find CD-keys/serials. Obviously, you didn't understand why forum rule #2 is there; you only read it and now are trying to circumvent it. Don't. Consider this as a final warning!

A crack can legally (you know what I mean) be used by many users.
And one key is only for one person!

Man, if you have plenty of games at home, do you like it always to search your discs and put them into the device?
If you make this many times peer day, your discs could be scratched, broken etc.

That's right. U can ask for a crack so U don't need to switch CDs/DVDs all the time. If U ask for a key it's clear that U don't own the game else U would have a key. Do U now understand our way of thinking??

Sure they do, why would the warez users come here to get a crack when a crack would more than likely come with their warez'd (cracked) game.

Most people would prefer to use a NoCD crack instead of risking damaging their original discs. In my particular case, I have 2 boys who like to play many games, and I dont like giving them the original discs to play because of the risk of damage and the added hassles of getting the damaged disc replaced etc. (not that they have ever damaged any of my discs as yet but that is possibly because they only get to use the original disc when there is no crack available).

So its easier for me, and them, to use a NoCD crack. That way I avoid the hassles of sending away for a replacement disc, and its easier for my kids as it saves them a severe beating from me if they damage my expensive discs!!

Just joking on the kids beatings, I would never hurt my two little buddies!

That seems to be the most common reason why people come here looking for cracks. In my particular case I HATE the noise the drive makes when reading the disks and, of course, having to search all over my cd's for the right disk or having to swap them constantly when I have more then one great game to play at the same time

TQ v1.15 worked using the same method I used to run v1.11.

(1) Installed game and updated to v1.15.
(2) Mounted Bender's mini-image into DaemonTools v4.03 virtual drive. Enabled all emulation options then turned off DT. When it asked if I wanted to keep all the emulation settings on, clicked "no."

(3) Used CureROM loader v1.0 (not the latest one or the special one made just for TQ) and started the game.

I started a new game yesterday and played for about 3 hours without any crashes. I didn't notice any obvious improvements from v1.11 though.

Playing Titan Quest with CureRom, my hero suddenly had a huge grey beard , looked hillarious .
I tried the v1.15 crack, which by the way worked perfectly without crashing for hours, and the beard was gone

Got a problem with the GCW Mulit-patch 1.15: game starts, but in english, even though I installed the german version. Is there a patch for german around?
Tried to play the game using Virtual CD 8 (somebody wrote it works without any problems), but it keeps telling me to put the original cd in the player ... any workaround for vcd there without dt and securom loader?

v1.20 works with mini-image

The just released Titan Quest v1.20 works with Daemon Tools v403HE, mini-image[Benders], and AlkiSecurom v1.0 as per a prior post.
Here's the steps:
1) If you want to use a saved game, go into your registry and copy the CD-Key you entered. It will be under THQ.
2) Uninstall Titan Quest.
3) Install Daemon Tools v403HE.
4) Install Titan Quest using an ISO, Daemon Tools and your CD Key.
5) Update with v1.20. Just put the update in your THQ folder and run it.
6) Unmount your Titan Quest ISO and mount Bender's mini-image in Daemon Tools. I turned all emulations off and did not exit Daemon Tools.
7) Run alkiSecurom v1.0 and point it to your Titan Quest Executable file in the THQ folder.
8) You will be asked to put your Titan Quest original disk in the CD tray, which surprised me. I just used a copy and everything worked okay.

I started the game and my previous saved games were all there. I loaded all of them and played awhile and was able to transport all over. Everything seems to be just fine. Hope this information helps others out there. I also hope that I have not said anything in my post that I am not supposed to.

Thanks to all of the previous posters. Your advice worked for me.

1.20 update apparently has no protection, so using alkirom etc.. is pointless.. try scanning the updated executable with pid and report back please..

i read theres no securom on it, but a cdcheck still remains....
