i got 1.15 to work perfectly with help from post #240 and others

1) install game
2) update to 1.15
3) right-click titanquest.exe and change to win2000 compatability
4) mount "Titan Quest [ENGLISH] No-DVD/Fixed Image #2" from gamecopyworld with daemon tools (all emulations off)
5) run alkisecurom.exe (download it) and double-click titanquest.exe

i didnt need Pr0t.St0p, but it has helped others...

Like hexum and many others said, I can confirm:

ALL versions (from 1.0 to 1.15) work with Mini Image (from bended) mounted and AlkiSecurom !

For those who have crashes (it doesnt matter which version 1.0 or 1.15) it has nothing to do with the
Copyprotection !
If you use the original disc you will have the same crashes !
The reason is your computer/Software in some way.

I (as well as others) played with every version as soon as they were released and never had a crash.
So I am quite lucky, that my comp seems to be OK for the game.
But dont blame the NoCD file or the "Emulation trick" wouldnt work.

They do work. (luckily) But as I said, it depends on your comp.
For example, I have connected my CD/DVD drives to my Raid controllers. Maybe thats the trick. I dunno.

Hey juergen, maybe it helps that you connected your dvd drive to a raid controller (I did it on another computer and it helped a lot with a lot of games). However, just to say that I've tryed 5 ou 6 different ways to get the version 1.15 running without the DVD and they all failed (not nice!).

The only thing left is the 1.15 fixed exe/no dvd exe talked about by cosmiq... I can't find it so I guess things will have to wait before I get of the dvd!

BUT, if you already have 1.08, you won't be able to use the 1.01 to 1.15 patch (inside this package). Still, not even the 1.08 to 1.15 will be good. At least for me, it didn't work.

So...i had to reinstall the game, apply the patch and then the crack. Finally no more crappy sound with Realtek ALC850, and no more crashes.

I downloaded the rar file from rapishare (above post).
Well, i got 283 funny files inside rar file.
They dont work for me (maybe because I have updated from 1.11 to 1.15 before).
I dont want to reinstall game like misterxibit did.

I hope this tricky thing helps you guys.

Yes it does work! Those funny files and the .exe are the crack. You just copy everything into your game directory. It doesnt work without those files. You have to copy them too, not just the .exe.

I played for 2 hours i think...but then....suddenly the game FREEZES to death. Had to reset the system. I'm sick of this game. 3 patches and still having crash problems!

- reinstalled the game
- applied the 1.01 to 1.15 patch
- copied the _asxdox dir to the game dir
- mounted the game with daemon tools (v4.03)

When starting the game I get the wrong disk error...

Damn...sorry guys, I forgot to put the cracked 1.15 exe in the archive. Here's the complete patch+crack.

Update from 1.01 to 1.15, then copy the cracked exe and those manny files, to your game directory. It works 100%.

This works perfectly for me without setting win2k mode.
It never crashed once neither with 1.11 nor with 1.15.
