how do you fix the FMV skipping problem when you burn PSX games?

I've had trouble burning PSX games, because the FMVs wouldn't work when I played the game. Please help.

Can be a couple of things. Either your burning too quick, slow down to x2 speed.
Your media's incompatible. Change the media (my psx doesn't like Samsung).
Your lasers knackered. Take it too a shop to have the laser replaced, or potentiometer recalibrated.
Basically try a game on a mates psx. If it jumps on his then it'll probably mean you've burnt it too quick.
