A mini image doesn't allow single player mode, because there are data on the (real) CD which are required by the game, like videos, speech etc.. Starcraft is not fully installed offically.
Either use two independent installations (a cracked one for singleplayer, a "clean" one for multiplayer) or a full image. |

Hmmm, perhaps, you can A) copy all the files from the original CD onto the hard disk and modify a registry entry or an INI file so that the game loads them off the hard disk or B) hack the mini image to contain "empty" (but usable!) files for the videos, speech etc. (I rip my games in a modular fashion, putting away the intro, movies, music, speech, ambient sounds - whatever is not really needed - into separate RAR archives.) Just an idea, I don't have this game, not interested...

Thanks for your replies guys!
I found out about this: http://www.bwprogrammers.com/modules...download&cid=1 Downloaded it and it worked like a charm! I had to reinstall SC and copy the install.exe file from the BroodWar Cd though. |
