Changing English to Polish in the registry still brings up the same error. That would be something if it worked! The protected Polish EXE should be in the 1.47 patch, if there's a way to extract it.

hmm, so we can cross that out - probably it is used only by the update program. comparing russian and english exes there are several differences at the beginning of the file, but both are encoded still, i'll try to workout something...

Cool Crack for one lang and NOT another???

OK, so the crack has been produced for the Polish version of the game. Is there any reason that one cannot be produced for the ENGLISH version???

I am sitting here with DB useless on my system right now. I played through about 20% or so of the game, but recently when I moved I misplaced the Play CD. I still have everything else, but I cannot continue playing the game!!!

A crack would be very nice to have right about now.

BTW, I tried the Polish crack, and the opening credits and intro video go just fine, but when the load screen appears the load bar fills up to about 3/4 and then everything just hangs and I get an "Incorrect version" error. Is that what others have been getting???

Well, you should find your original CD until a crack becomes available.

I was getting the same error, but I gave the mini-image of BD another try and it finally worked. It turns out that the one on gamecopyworld is the one to use. There seems to be another mini-image file out there that doesn't work, at least it didn't for me. The other step I had to do was run StarForce Nightmare to disable the second IDE channel.
