In my experience, this is usually caused by using a copied large-TOC DVD and then inserting an original 360 DVD. This will cause the symptoms you specify. Failing this, it just seems that your drive is incompatible with this method, as some drives re-check the TOC etc when spun back up (this is only applicable to very few drives - my old LG was one of them
 ).

Hmmmmm... well im using an original copy of the Buckaroo Bonzai dvd. Yes i said Buckaroo Bonzai. If youve heard of it then you win internets from me.
But other than that, would the master or slave settings on the drive or where it is plugged in affect that? I have 3 drives plugged in, 2 DVDRW on the first IDE cable and this is the third plugged into the second IDE cable.
