here is more info for my problem (error 5000: conflict emulation software)

I am using Pr0t.st0p and newest asr.exe. asr.exe is renamed explorer and is outside of game directory. compatibility mode is win98. tried mounting mini image through alcohol 120 and also through DT 4.03. i have uninstalled antiblaxx and used the registry fix to get rid of its problem. i have no other anti security things installed except for dvddecrypter. emulation settings in DT and alcohol are all turned off.

i hope for a fixed exe someday soon .

Cool

Mount Mini-image in Daemon (I used Mini-Image #2),

and either use CureRom Loader (Get it HERE)

For more information on how to used CureROM Loader Go HERE

Or

AlkiSecuROM (Get it HERE), it works just like ASR (I think it's a modified version of ASR), But It works.

Both Worked Fine With Me. No Crashes.

Cheers.

P.S.: I Didn't use any Compatability Mode.

I get further than I've gotten before I think, but now it detects DT and tells me I can't start the game using DT.
I made sure to turn all of its emulation settings off, exit DT, and use Pr0t.St0p, but it still detects DT 4.03HE...

Online play

This is a little unrelated to the topic at hand but has anyone been able to play the reloaded version of tq online? currently I have the tq iso mounted using alcohol and am playing 1.01. I tried the reloaded update to 1.08 and it doesnt work so I'm stuck with 1.01.I will give a cookie to anyone who can give me directions or point me to the proper forum on how to update it properly or play online

I followed the link above to download AlkiSecurom and ran it with Bender's mini-image mounted through DT v4.03. After mounting Bender's mini-image, I disabled all emulations and closed DT.

I then ran Alkisecurom and started TQ v1.11. Unlike with the CureROM method (which would start the game but crash within 5-10 minutes), TQ ran and it ran well. I played for about 30 minutes until I exited the game, not the other way around. =)

Thx for the tip, WebSurfer.

I tried your method again today, WebSurfer80, but still I get error 6000.
It tells me to unmount, close DT, and try again with original.
I have all emulations turned off, have closed DT, and tried it with and without Pr0t.St0p hiding.

do you have programs like antiblaxx installed (anti-blacklisting programs), if so there are regisrty fixing tools on CureROMs site.

Here is what i do:

1- mount mini-Image #2 in DT (You might want to Close DT after mounting and Keeping emulation options ON).
2- Start AlkiSecuROM.
3- Select TitanQuest.exe.
4- Play the Game.

No Proto.Stop no SD4Hide, nothing else. if your version of windows have been installed a long time ago, then it might have a missed-up regisrty. i suggest installing a fresh copy of windows, and trying again.

i hope that works.

Good Luck.
