Who made the card? eVGA, Leadtek, etc.. Overclocking this card really depends on who made the card.

I'm guessing you have Stock 290/400 at 4X AGP.

A leadtek can handle a decent memory push ... around 500Mhz, but the GPU really can't be pushed past 300Mhz without artifacts or locking up on any FX5200. Bottom line here is you need a new card to handle the newest games.

Try lowering the texture quality and updating to latest drivers.
