Only time you will get that invalid serial, is
1. The serial has been entered wrong, i.e. a 0 instead of O and 1 and l and so forth. 2. The serial has already been used in another account, so taking the serial from a friend or buying a 2nd hand version of the game you wont be able to play online (unless for the 2nd hand user gives you his account also)
