If you have the original the game works no problem. If you have the original and your genuine cd-key and use a crack, the game works no problem at all.

i dont think so, i read some threads at the offical german TQ board and many many people with the original retail version/key have crashes.

i believe its neither a problem with bad cracks nor with bad images - the game is simply shitty coded.

i guess we have to wait for a offical patch, who will hopefully fix this random crashes.

On the majority thats the main reason.


But as usual with any PC game it will crash on some but not on others.


In this case they added this protection to accept any serial and crash on you, which is clever of them lol

Goto to THQ forums for TITAN QUEST and read about the crashes.I dont think the people who are writing there have a copy of the game.They are using the original.I

And almost all don't respond to advice from the publisher when they call support and than don't want to register the game. Guess why. DABHand has postet the problem for almost 95% of the failure.

Those fixes are useless since the crashes are game- and not crack-related as stated in official forums!

Wait for official patch which comes in a couple of days!

yeah, i know - the fix simply extracs die .arc files in the resource folder.

but didn't work for me, still crashing to desktop.

like you said Trismogestos, its definite a game problem and we have to wait for a offical patch - sad but true!
