sotwares error pioneer 104

I've been trying to write a data DVD, I've got this error and I already downloaded and installed the latest firmware, it didn't fix the problem, the burning fails, I have tried 5 times, but all the time fails at differente porcentage of the recording. I have already defrag mi HD,
what can i do to fix this?, or it could be the bran of the DVDs? (Office Depot)
but this has also happened before with other DVD brands like (memorex, sony)
I also tried using different software (RecordNow, Nero7)
Everthing results unsucessfully
