Right, you didn't mention Multiplayer mods and some of those only support GTA:SA v1.0 anyway!

i used to use cracks but have been liking mini-images better and better.
for example: warcraft 3 will put out an update and then you need to wait a couple days for a new no-cd exe.
with the mini-image i dont have to wait.

--this is for the US version that got re-rated to AO (adults only).
--the sku# is: 10425 21694
--the cd protection is: SecuROM 7.00.00.0037

if your info doesnt match it may not work...i used A-Ray Scanner v2.0.2.3 to find protection version.
scan the install dir to find the exact SecuROM version.

if the mini-image doesnt work and you have the 1.01 patch you will most likely need anti-blacklisting tools.... i found CureROM (google it if u need it) which worked without a hitch...

what version/language of the game do you have, from what i could see it was a german(?) version of winXP. maybe thats the prob.... also is the game executable modified in any way? like a 3rd party fix for some misc bug? is the 1.01 patch installed b/c that does mess with the game exe... and theres also different 1.01 patches for different versions of the game....
i might be able to give you a walkthrough on how i made my mini-image if you would like to try. sorry it doesnt work for you ....
