Lol yah, there is a little irony in it, being Microsoft giving a physical patch (and their past of "patches").
However, alternative points were already released. I agree that this is definately not going to be for the average person. Given the work involved in both backing up and soldering all those tiny pin points, I personally don't even think the thing is worth it. I have never hotswaped and am not about to start. When I hear "hotswap", I think "ghetto".

lol theire is nothing dangerous about hotswap it just means that when system is booted with for example an sata hardisk or sata dvdrom you must pull that sata cable out and put the xbox360 dvdrom drive sata cable in easy as it sounds.

~WoMeNlOvEr ... so far ive moddded xboxes with: 2 Matrixes 3 Xbits My xbox!: -250 gig -XBIT -4981.06 x2 -orange led for light, matching beautifully with the orange x in the splash screen -Component cable my problem...solved?!: -one of my friends says he can get about 450 files off it!... and now i havent seen him for about 4 months..and ive written him like 11 emails.. Only modifies the DVD drive's firmware. It's ok, but games are a bitch to backup.
