Guess I won't tell him you need to do a FULL install then copy over the D2MUSIC.MPQ file from the PLAY DISC to the where the game is installed to stop it asking for the CD

Read the forum FAQ for a list of sites carrying cracks. If you cannot find a particular crack on those sites, then those cracks probably do not exist at all so you need to be (more) patient and use your originals in the meantime.

I bought the battle chest a while back but lost my expansion disc, so i'm trying to use no-cd and a burned disc to play the expansion online. i still have the case with the cd-key. I've tried d2loader v1.11b, i've tried the deviance thing, i've tried mounting the .iso on daemon tools. all of these things end up in either "we got a big problem here", an unintelligable string of letters, or the most common situation of it asking me for the disc. the whole replacing the d2xmusic/talk/video thing hasn't worked for me either. so now i'm just confused.
