Because some people don't want to be hassled to insert the CD everytime they wish to change games that they are playing. It partly defeats the purpose of copying the game to your HD. Plus, people are afraid that their game might get scratched/damaged (accidents happen) and the protection won't recognize it anymore.

First of all if you consider yourself intelligent for stating this point you should reassess what you believe is smart.

Your argument is ludicrous because if it were true nobody would be posting on these forums. Everyone would just play the originals and be content... but people like to preserve their original discs and make 'back ups' or 'images'... essentially the purpose of this forum.

And scratching a disk doesn't make it unplayable all of a sudden, not to mention that you would have to be a real idiot to scratch an Original disc badly. insulting others is just wrong and if you have no problems with using your originals, that's fine, but some people play a lot of games and they don't want to have cds/dvds laying around and play DJ all the time.
