I would just like to remember that this hole mess happened only because game companies handle you like a pirate, like a criminal and deshonest person.
Take the GOOD example o Stardock. They released Galactic Civilizations 2 without ANY anti-piracy, anti-copy protection. The game sales ware huge because the game is GOOD! If it is good, people will buy it. Of course there ware pirated versions of the game, but they didn't hurt the sales and, what is most important, people which bought the game legaly were able to play it! They were not treated like criminals by Stardock.
