Well, with no-CD/DVD cracks and solutions becoming more and more complicated and requiring more and more tertiary apps and procedures, this is ONE more step I could live without.

So, ultimately, I'd like to be able to play a game with a single double click as if my DVD is still in the drive.

For most games, I've been able to achieve that through the use of DaemonScript. But this high priority issue sure puts in a monkey wrench...

...oh, and it's ctrl-alt-delete by the way

If I can make any progress on my own (and I have..just nothing significant), but I'll post here.

Unless this Patch actually solves a problem you are having, why are you updating?

As for all this daemon tools stuff, and mini mds files. I used the fixed exe from gamecopyworld. game starts fine, no fancy tools to avoid securom etc. I just replaced the original exe with the fixed exe

I do have the original but I just hate having to keep the DVD in. it really p*sses me off.

^^ we know lol.. we have uptaded because the patch is supposed to fix things.. so obv were trying to get a fix so we can play 1.06.. no other prog we can use except anti-securom loader (asr.exe) ??

and yeah i hate puttin in the dvd all the time.. :P
