I have to ask, did you apply the v1.04 update first?
The DVD inserted won't make any difference if using a NoDVD crack as the DVD checks have been removed!

I had the same problem with the crack for FEAR 1.03. Haven't tried 1.04 yet though.
Try reverting back to the last working version or similar, or maybe a reinstall is the only solution...
