There ARE some good graphics, okay. But it looks all just a little too bad for my taste. Just look at GRAW... there is not ONE bad spot in the game, graphics that is.

I could go on, and on, and on...
There are also good spots in the Game BUT it doesn´t look anything near great.
And on the Gameplay side... funny. If I shoot at an enemy that is a little out of the range of my gun... then I could shoot 1000 Bullets at him, do a Moonwalk in the sand, take a handstand and show him my wiener... and what does my enemy? NOTHING AT ALL!

"Oh, is there somebody firing at us?"
"Ahhh... he is out out range. Lets keep going..."

I would much rather prefer gameplay over graphics. Yah, it's nice to look at a game that looks visually superior over others. Sometimes, I even play them just to see what the devs have accomplished graphically. However, after the first 20 minutes of playing, I couldn't care less about what the game looks like. I want something that is interesting to play, not something just to stair at. Rarely do we get a game with both.

In the end, the games I play more than others are usually the ones with just "semi-good" graphics. They are the ones which devs have focused more on gameplay.

I really wish we acted like Japanese gamers though, then we'd have better games. I can't believe that you can't believe how much the DS is selling. Yah, it does have sequels, but it also has a lot of non-sequel titles. Not only that, but they all have great or unique gameplay.

The x360 lacks variety, which is partly why it does not sell too well in Japan. For every one platform/puzzle/action/adventure game that comes, we get like 3 fps's. Just look at the launch and upcoming games, and those are my least liked games. I prefer platform/puzzle games and non-D&D style rpg’s. Unfortunately, the xbox lacks both. That is where the ps3 comes in.

You are right. I don´t agree in any point with you but in the most of it.
BUT if a game looks like crap and plays even worse then I got a problem with it. And thats what I wanted to state with the shots of "The Outfit" and "Farcry"...

I dislike the graphics of that games and I don´t like how its fealing when I play them. That was my point. Its absolutly right that a game that looks great and plays like... yah. Then that game is not worth playing. I agree.

But in this day and age... I say a game has to give me BOTH! Good graphics and good gameplay. I can live with okay graphics and really great gameplay.
But think about it! Would HL2 still be that great if it looked like Pacman?

There has to be a certain level of developement.
And the Dev´s should get there asses up to give us gamers that!

Damn, I haven´t spend so much money on that Console and my new Beamer just to play games that look like they are 2 years old


But hey... there are enough good games out there that have all I want.. so what am I complaining about

No official word. It has been rumors of a halted production. It will probably be released in the future, since there are like 3 GTA clones being released for the consoles all near the same time.
