New to burning games?

I am new at this stuff. I am interested in trying it; but I am not sure of what to do. I have burned a few audio cd-r's; but this is about all I have done so far. Please help me out by maybe listing some steps to start me out with. And will my playstation need to be modified to play backups? I just replaced my old one with a new ps1; but it is way smaller than our older one. I just need to know if I need to add something to make it play back-ups? THANKS!

You will need a mod chip installed, yes they are available. I use Nero burning rom for most of my backups and cdrwin for patches. e-mail me for where and how to's.
