Ok so I have news for you.
I've been able using a swap method to write a second session at 11702 (it can be any other lba) -=WITHOUT=- writing a first session. Then I wrote the first session but only from sector 0 to 301 ( the drive was thinking that the disc was Empty |Without the 2nd session| so from sector 302 to 11701 it's bad sector !!!) My new computer with WinXp pro and a Lg dvd reader read it as a single session cd ( only the 0-301 session) even with isobuster. My old computausaurus PII 350mhz with a Ltd 165h dvdreader read it, on isobuster, as a 2 session cd (the second session being open) and with this «TOC» 1st session : 0 to 301 2de session : 11702 to 335498 (so 302 to 11701 is still blank) But It report last session to be BAD SECTORS only the Toc of the session is readable, NOT THE FILES. and on this same computer with alcohol it give me this: Disc Type: CD-XA Recordable: yes Volume Name: -=FamilyGuy=- Session: 1 Track: 1 Free space: 00347202 678.1 MB (077:09:27 Used Space: -0000001 9408.00 GB (36933:10:45) Session|Track|_____Mode______|__Adress___|_Number of sector_| 01____|01___|Mode 2 Form 1___|00000000___|00000302 (693 KB) 02____|02___|_______________|___________|_________ _______| (this is a translation from french) so... weird eu!! That's not all !! With my computausaurus with cdrwin it only see the 1st session(0-301) Using an emulator for the dreamcast (nesterdc) to browse my disc It read only the first session (1-301). THIS DISC IS "UNBACKUPABLE" So I think that if I write my Bleemcast Disc until the so called lead out (the one the computer use) then I put a disc written in an openlast session that end at the same lba that my other disc then star to write the 2de session with a countdownbefore it start(cdrecord:10sec) and I swap the disc for my finalized one before it end , it'll write it passed the TOC. I think I must do this at EVERY F***in' Bad sector "area"(as in my last reply). Gonna try this ... it'll be long... Last edited by --=FamilyGuy=--; 09-04-2006 at 20:28. |

!!!
So... I failed to do this one... I'll probably NEVER do a working realeasable iso of this bleemcast disc, but, one day, before i die, even if I must buy a custom pressburner/gd-writer, I'll copy this disc !!!
Randy Linden, You're the Damn GOD of the Dreamcast All my respect go to you, because you've done what SEGA never been able to do with this wonderful console, an "unbackupable" disc !!!! even if you where using in fact a backup-like way to boot it -=FamilyGuy=- |

Yes, It's true , they made and wonderful job... Some game developper should follow their example :P
If I was a guy at M$ I would have bought the right on this protection scheme many years ago !!!!! Even if it seems to waste some disc space ... -=FamilyGuy=- |

UPDATE:
I've been able to create a cd with the same TOC that a real GD-Rom SESSION 01 TRACK 01 MODE1/2352 INDEX 01 00:00:00 REM MSF: 00:00:00 = LBA: 0 TRACK 02 AUDIO INDEX 01 00:13:22 REM MSF: 00:13:22 = LBA: 997 SESSION 02 TRACK 03 MODE1/2352 INDEX 01 10:00:00 REM MSF: 10:00:00 = LBA: 45000 Lead out : 549150 ------------------ I put this cd in my dismantled drive, I wait for it to load, I swap with a gd-r, I open with isobuster, then I'll see a generic File system ( not the gd files) so then I open the isobuster's options and check show both lilttle indian and big indian ( only to make the gd rescanned) the true gd filesystem now apear like magic !!! (I then uncheck the lil' + big Indian flag) I can extract everyfile directly from the gd-r directly this way using isobuster and I can create a sort.txt I tested it with chancast but it don't work. That's what it looks like with the sega magazine feb 2000: ![]() I just wanna share this interesting discovery with you. -=FamilyGuy=-
