99% of NoCD cracks do not work for online play!
Use the original disc or a mounted mini/maxi/full image to play online.

Ah, fair enough! This is the first time I've come across a game not working online but thanks for your help. Guess I'll just have to keep reaching for the dvd! Cheers.

here's my story
Well, i bought fear a while a ago then, when i started to want to play without the cd (i got too many games ) i used CureRom Pro. And it still working perfectly today, with version 1.3.1, even online and hopefully coz im playing on multiplayer mode mainly.
