my original copy of Crashday has starforce 3.7.13.01 protection...

i tried to make a good dpm image with lastest alcohol but still not able to play, even with my ide cd-rw unplugged can you help me?

Different regions have been known to have different protections sometimes.


But its also a possiblity that PiD made an error and reported it was SF3.7 and not Securom.

nah, thats not possible to detect SecuROM7 as SF3
also itīs aray-scanner output, not PiD.

sf3 example scan:
- check .sforce is present
- is file a dll ? -> check version or report SF3 wrapped dll
- check for push xxxxxxxx & call to VM at EP
- some more checks

crashday EU version is SF 3.7, US is SecuROM 7

At least german and UK versions are protected by Securom 7; i guess nebbia88 can tell which version uses Starforce
