How do you play PS backup games on the PS2?

I've got a Jap SCPH-15000 i have an modchip and 1 Jap PS game when i put the Jap PS game in it pops out 3 time till it loads the game. So how do you play Backup PS games on the PS2.

First you put in any original japanese game, when it pops out put a backup of american or japanese, it'll pop out again put original japanese game in, it pop out again so put in your backup and youre done. you must be quick! 70% chance that you have to do this once.
