I have just one standard Samsung IDE DVD burner in my PC which I didn't have to disconnect.

if ide drives are installed (optical) u r NOT ABLE to start a starforce protected game about a SCSI drive (most virtual drives are SCSI drives). exeptions are ide controller/mobo chipsets from nvidia (nforce4) and uli (M1967, M1965).

sry,but whats the diference between version x86 and x64?
with version 4.03 we r able to play toca3 without unplug the cd's,dvd's drives?
but we steel need to have always the image mounted on daemon,right?

The x86 is for 32-bit processors, the x64 is for 64-bit processors. I recommend trying the x86 version if you don't know which processor you have.

x64 version is for 64bit OS', e.g. WinXP64 or the upcoming Longhorn ... sorry, It's Vista :P I hate that name...Longhorn was much better...
x86 means 80x86 processor instruction set (sorry, might be translated somewhat strange), supported by all Windows, i guess. Dunno about OSX or LINUX/UNIX in general ?!
