I used Game Jackal... Didn't use a profile map. During the "locate title" part I used sweaw.exe, NOT launchEAW.exe. For profiler mode, dynamic extended scan didn't work for me, so I tried Standard mode and it worked. Every so often, when I try to load the profile, it asks for the cd -- but then I disable the profile and try again and it loads the game up fine.

EDIT: Oh, and I have alcohol 120% and Daemon Tools installed with a virtual drive enabled and neither program is causing me a problem with Game Jackal loading Empire at War.

Hey all. I have read the whole thread now and it seems I have a different problem than all of you..

I installed the cd version and when trying to start, it tells mit the sweaw file is missing and indeed I cant find it in the gamedate folder...

How is that? what am I doing wrong?
