meh. I'd link to a torrent here, but all the trackers I use are either on warez sites, or would reject this as being warez itself.

Unhappy

I wonder what I am doing wrong. I've followed every piece of advice written in this thread, save for physically disabling my drives. I used DT 4.03 (even tried 3.47 out of hope), CureRom 1.31, CureRom Lite, Prot.Stop, SR7.Stop, S4Hide(just in case), AntiSecurom, I've downloaded the mini image and mounted it instead and I've removed any traces of StarForce from the system by their own removal tool.

Yet I still get the "a required security module was found up in your ass" message. If that matters I use Windows Media Edition, not XP home or pro. Lucas Arts' technical support is not really a support and now I am unable to play the game I pre-ordered!! This is in a word bull...

Any ideas what I should do (aside from waiting for a NoCD patch of course) would be appreciated...

You should probably reinstall the game. Use DT4.03 and make sure that the only virtual drive you have on your system is the one (must be the only Virt drive) there is the one that DT will use. Follow the instructions of the curerom tool to the letter. Oh, and make sure you are using an uncorrupted downloaded ROM. Also, removing starforce is not a good idea, since the games flat out won't run without it.

Hey Slon, thanks for giving me a hand... Yeah, the only virtual drive I have is the DT's, but I do have a drive to read all those memory cards & etc. so the drive letters are full up to K, with Deamon taking G; but I guess that shouldn't be a problem...

What did you mean by having an uncorrupted downloaded ROM? And when I re-install the game, should I mount my image with DT all emulations on, or would that change anything at all?

By the way, the company that makes Starforce protection says that any time you run a game that uses SF the program will automatically install itself and then run the game, so that shouldn't matter.

Drive letter shouldn't matter. I have mine on L. Basically, make sure you mini-image was downloaded completely with no corruptions. Perhaps check it with

?

Yes, have all emulation options on. Then, in CureRom, make sure when you edit the file, that all the emulation options are grayed (basically tells it to use whatever options DT has on).

As for SF, just make sure you don't uninstall it once game is installed.
