@avfc1990: Are you running 64-bit Windows? If so, is the game compatible with it (see the system requirements)?

@Sc0ward: Are the two weeks over? No. So don't ask!

Well I do believe that two weeks has elapsed since the 6.0.3 was produced and as such, a no-cd edition would be extremely appreciated

--

Ok, now to my own problem.

I run -> Windows 2000, Athlon 2600+, 80GB HDD, 512K Ram.

I've downloaded -> FM 2006 MDS & MDF Files, 6.0.2 Patch & No-cd, 6.0.3 patch, Alcohol 120%, Daemon Tools, Anti-Blaxx.

My problem -> I've managed to mount the image and install the game, but unfortunately it seems that when I try to play the game, it refuses to work (please insert the correct CD) about 99/100 attempts - quite literally, I've tried loading it about 300 times and maybe it's worked three of those times.

It has only ever worked when I've used the Daemon-AntiBlaxx combitination, and never Alcohol-AntiBlaxx.

So yes, it has worked, but there seems to be no pattern. Once it worked when all the emulation options were on, once when it was off. It seems to be pure and complete chance. Even when I've quit, I can't load it up again using the same settings. It just rejects me flat out.

I even tried buring the .mds file to a CD using Alcohol and this didn't help either; I'd click the icon and while FM would be running according to task manager, the game simply wouldn't load.

What I'd like to know is there someone out there who has managed to get the game working for Windows 2000? It seems the magic trick for Windows XP users is this NT Compatability box; we have nothing of the sort and, as far as I know, completely out of options.

Any ideas or suggestions would be much appreciated - obviously I'd rather get it working through the mount-drive-method than have to wait for the no-cd (but yes, I'd still love that asap, please!)
